CARMELA ROSAS Yoga makes you feel good period.  Carmela finds herself profoundly inspired by maintaining her practice and sharing it with others.  Training as a professional ballet dancer for 16 years, she learned the grueling life and effects placing such physical and mental demands can have.  Yoga was a refuge between injuries and quickly she began to see a new path unfold. Under the guidance of profound Ashtanga based teachers such as Tim Miller, Susan Taylor, Kino MacGregor and her first teacher Lissette Heart,   Carmela naturally graduated from student to teacher of Ashtanga.  A dedicated Ashtangee, Carmela feels one can never stop growing and herself continues her training under David Andrew at 4:30 a.m.   Carmela is also an accomplished runner and has run 21 marathons and ultra marathons, including the Boston Marathon twice. Carmela is a complete believer in being able to do whatever you set your mind to. She has learned through yoga to not put limits on oneself. "We are the masters of our own destiny." Carmela is a compassionate teacher who’s style is based primarily in Ashtanga and it’s principles. Carmela is certified in various yoga philosophies and also enjoys teaching hard FLOW, hard Ballet, and TRX. She loves the strength, heat building, and grace that a yoga practice brings to your life.

MONICA CARROLL Monica has been teaching fitness and nutrition for over 25 years and yoga in Orange County for over 15 years. She is certified in power yoga, advanced power yoga, hot yoga, Ayurveda, holistic nutrition and holds prior certifications in personal training, aerobics, sports nutrition, and group fitness. Her workouts are designed to be interesting, challenging, but approachable. though Influenced under the teachings and training of  Sri Dharma Mittra, Janet Stone, Darren Main, Shiva Rea, Heather Peterson, Brandon Cox, Sean Corn, Baron Baptiste, Annie Carpenter, Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa, Jason Wilkerson, Rod Stryker, Ana forrest, David Swenson, Cyndi Lee, Jason Crandell, Les Leventhal and Deepak Chopra ,  she describes herself as the eternal student; monica is constantly influenced and seeking adaptable and variable persprectives.  "there is always something to learn, always!"  MONICA HAS MENTORED TEACHERS FOR YEARS, LEADING MANY TEACHER TRAININGS IN ORANGE COUNTY.  SHE PIONEERED THE YOGA SCULPT TEACHER TRAINING PROGRAM WHICH LEAD TO ULTIMATELY CREATING HARD YOGA.  AFTER DISSATISFACTION IN THE TEACHER TRAINING PROCESS, MONICA AND HARD YOGA ARE COMMITTED TO EDUCATING 'TEACHERS' THROUGH MINDFULLY PREPARED LESSONS TO THE TRUE TEACHINGS AND PHILOSOPHIES.  AYURVEDA, YOGA PHILOSOPHY, ALTERNATIVE MEDICINE, SOUNDBATH THERAPY, AROMATHERAPY, AND MINERALS AND CRYSTALS ARE ALL CLOSE TO MONICA'S HEART.  THESE LAYERS ARE EVIDENT IN HER TRAININGS AND CLASSES.
